Job Overview
Zuro is seeking a proactive and versatile HR Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our people strategy, building strong HR foundations, and fostering a high-performance culture. You will work closely with leadership and employees to drive talent acquisition, engagement, compliance, and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build scalable HR policies, processes, and systems aligned with company culture and business needs.
- Manage employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records and oversee payroll and benefits coordination.
- Implement training and development programs to support career growth.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance and resolution support.
- Drive initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Continuously improve HR operations through feedback, data-driven insights, and innovation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an HR professional (startup or fast-paced environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and learning & development.
- Proven ability to design and implement HR policies and processes from the ground up.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience with HR software and tools (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems).
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High reliability, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Trello).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in HR for technology or AI-driven companies.
- Knowledge of international HR practices and remote team management.
- Familiarity with compensation structuring and performance-linked incentives.
- Experience designing employer branding and employee engagement strategies.
- Understanding of data-driven HR analytics and reporting.
